Conservation: Keep in cool and dry place. Once received, unwrap the cover and paper that protect it during transport. It is essential to have the necessary tools for its correct consumption - avoid at all costs the use of standard kitchen knives, blunt knives, ham stands in bad condition, etc.
These tools must be: 1) medium-sized broad knife, to clean the inside and outside of the ham, so as to allow correct placement in the base and subsequent cutting
2) long and flexible carving knife for a clean cut.
3) Sharpener/sharpening steel
Once the cutting has begun, the ham must be plugged with a slice of its own fat to preserve the flavour and aroma, as well as stop the piece from drying in a short space of time.
Consumption: This magnificent product should only be consumed alone or accompanied by a glass of high quality wine or cava.
