Duroc hams are cured by hand and in a natural way, in the municipality of Juviles, Granada, in the center of the Alpujarra, at 1,250m above sea level in the Sierra Nevada natural park.
Salted without nitrifying or preservatives, only with sea salt, it starts from a pure breed of Duroc with black hooves.
Its curing time is more than 24 months.
In our opinion, it is the ham most similar to Iberian ham that we have tried at a much lower price.
